This is a link to a website that I found for lesson plans. Its based on my science major, and looked pretty interesting. The class will get to use the internet and another program, Microsoft Worldwide Telescope (WWT) to look at the stars and different constellations. This should take about five days to finish the project. During the project students will observe the stars on the internet and the WWT website. In the project the students can look at the size and shape, its brightness, color and mass. At the end of this project the students will make a WWT tour telling the information that they found out about the stars and then share their tour with other class members. I think that this type of
project would fit into 1c. of the ISTE/NETS.

I totally agree with you! We need to continue to focus on the story and then worry about the digital media! The students need to be able to use critical thinking and be able to put their thoughts into either words or a story.
